Specifics the allocation of the Governor's Teacher Salary Challenge Program
grants to local governments.

Amendment No. 6:

On page 167, in line 29 and ending in line 33, strike the words ",
notwithstanding" through "Funding" in their entirety and substitute "contingent
upon the enactment of legislation to eliminate the payment of employer contributions
for State supplemental plans in the Optional Defined Contribution System in fiscal
year 2005, funding".

Clarifies that the proposed reduction is contingent on the enactment of
legislation.
