levels is readily available. Furthermore,
the report shall address how the State
intends to strengthen local jurisdictions'
land preservation efforts and utilize new
land preservation funding tools in fiscal
2006. The committees shall have 45 days
to review and comment upon this report.

Allowance, $33,531,276 represents that
share of Program Open Space Revenues
available for State projects and
$28,467,966 represents that share of
Program Open Space Revenues available
for local programs. Contingent upon the
enactment of legislation altering the
amount of transfer tax revenues to be
distributed to Open Space programs, the
share of Program Open Space Revenues
available for State projects will be reduced
by $28,668,276 and the share of Program
Open Space Revenues available for local
projects will be reduced by $28,467,966.
These amounts may be used for any State
projects or local share authorized in
Chapter 403, Laws of Maryland, 1969 as
amended, or in Chapter 81, Laws of
