(2) (II) REQUIRING THE TAX BE PAID TO THE COUNTY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE TERMS OF THE COUNTY ORDINANCE.

(2) A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION THAT COLLECTS THE TAX AND REMITS
THE TAX TO THE COUNTY MAY DEDUCT FROM THE REVENUES COLLECTED A FEE,
NOT TO EXCEED 2% OF THE REVENUES COLLECTED, FOR ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning

Higher Education - Maryland Digital Library - Established

FOR the purpose of establishing the Maryland Digital Library in the Maryland
Higher Education Commission; providing for the purpose of the Maryland
Digital Library; establishing the composition of the Maryland Digital Library;
authorizing the Maryland Higher Education Commission to encourage certain
institutions to meet certain goals; authorizing the Maryland Digital Library, in
collaboration with certain libraries entities, to develop certain programs;
establishing a Maryland Digital Library Advisory Council; requiring the
Maryland Digital Library Advisory Council to submit a certain report to the
Commission on or before a certain date each year; and generally relating to the
establishment of the Maryland Digital Library.
