(5) (6) IN ACCORDANCE WITH REGULATIONS ADOPTED BY THE
DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY AND CORRECTIONAL SERVICES, THE
ADMINISTRATION SHALL VERIFY PERIODICALLY A LIST OF OPERATORS OF
COMMERCIAL MOTOR VEHICLES THAT ARE REQUIRED TO BE PLACARDED FOR
HAZARDOUS MATERIALS.
(6) (7) INFORMATION OBTAINED FROM THE CENTRAL REPOSITORY
UNDER THIS SECTION SHALL BE:
(I) CONFIDENTIAL AND MAY NOT BE DISSEMINATED; AND
(II) USED ONLY FOR THE PURPOSE AUTHORIZED BY THIS SECTION.
(7) (8) THE SUBJECT OF A CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK
UNDER THIS SUBSECTION MAY CONTEST THE CONTENTS OF THE PRINTED
STATEMENT ISSUED BY THE CENTRAL REPOSITORY AS PROVIDED IN § 10-223 OF THE
CRIMINAL PROCEDURE ARTICLE.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning
Cooperative Housing Corporations, Condominiums, and Homeowners
Associations - Books and Records
FOR the purpose of requiring all books and records kept by or on behalf of a
cooperative housing corporation to be made available for examination and
copying by certain persons except under certain circumstances; authorizing a
cooperative housing corporation to impose a reasonable charge upon a person
desiring to review or copy the books and records; authorizing a council of unit
owners of a condominium to withhold books and records kept by or on behalf of
the council of unit owners from public inspection under certain circumstances;
authorizing a council of unit owners of a condominium to impose a reasonable
charge on a person desiring to review or copy the books and records; altering the
kinds of books and records a homeowners association may withhold from public
inspection under certain circumstances; and generally relating to the books and
records of cooperative housing corporations, condominiums, and homeowners
associations.
