(a) On or before December 15, 2000, and annually thereafter until December
15, 2004, the Secretary of Human Resources and the Secretary of Health and Mental
Hygiene shall report to the Governor and, subject to § 2-1246 of the State
Government Article, the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, the Senate
Education, Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee, the House Appropriations
Committee, and the House [Environmental Matters] HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT
OPERATIONS Committee, on their progress in complying with the provisions of this
subtitle.
