Article - Election Law

2-102.

(b)     In exercising its authority under this article and in order to ensure
compliance with this article and with any requirements of federal law, the State
Board shall:

(12) serve as the official designated office in accordance with the
[Uniform] UNIFORMED AND Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act for providing
information regarding voter registration and absentee ballot procedures for absent
uniformed services voters and overseas voters with respect to elections for federal
office.

10-310.

(a) For each individual who seeks to vote, an election judge, in accordance
with instructions provided by the local board, shall:

(3)     [establishing] ESTABLISH the identity of the voter by requesting the
voter to state the month and day of the voter's birth and comparing the response to
the information listed in the precinct register;

(4)     [verifying] VERIFY the address of the voter's residence;

(5)     if any changes to the voting authority card are indicated by a voter,
[making] MAKE the appropriate changes in information on the card or other
appropriate form; and

(6)     [having] HAVE the voter sign the voting authority card and either
[issuing] ISSUE the voter a ballot or [sending] SEND the voter to a machine to vote.

(c)      (7) Except as provided in [paragraphs] PARAGRAPH (3) or (4) of this
subsection, a person over the age of 10 years may not accompany a voter into a voting
booth.
