EHRLICH, JR., Governor Ch. 358 certain monitoring devices; clarifying various types of home detention or BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments, BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments, Section 9-401(f), 9-404, SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF Article - Criminal Law 9-401. (f) (1) "Place of confinement" means:
(3)] a facility of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene; OR [(4) a detention center for juveniles or a facility for juveniles listed in (5) a place identified in a juvenile community detention order; or (6)] (2) "PLACE OF CONFINEMENT' DOES NOT INCLUDE: (I) A DETENTION CENTER FOR JUVENILES; (II) A FACILITY FOR JUVENILES LISTED IN ARTICLE 83C. § (III) A PLACE IDENTIFIED IN A JUVENILE COMMUNITY DETENTION 9-404. (a) A person may not knowingly escape from a place of confinement. - 1307 -
