(II) IF THE PETITION INVOLVES A CHALLENGE TO A CANDIDATE
FOR AN OFFICE THAT IS TO BE CONTESTED AT AN ELECTION IN THE YEAR OF A
PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION, NO LATER THAN 11 WEEKS BEFORE THAT ELECTION.
(2) JUDICIAL REVIEW OF ANY PETITION THAT IS FILED UNDER
SUBSECTION (A) (B) OF THIS SECTION SHALL BE EXPEDITED BY THE CIRCUIT COURT
THAT HEARS THE CAUSE TO THE EXTENT NECESSARY IN CONSIDERATION OF THE
DEADLINES ESTABLISHED BY LAW, AND IN NO CASE, LONGER THAN 7 DAYS FROM
THE DATE THE PETITION IS FILED.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning
Maryland Pharmacy Act - Practice of Pharmacy - Administration of
Medication the Influenza Vaccination
FOR the purpose of altering the definition of the term "practice pharmacy" to include
administering medication in accordance with certain regulations adopted by the
State Board of Pharmacy certain vaccinations; requiring the Board, in
consultation with certain entities, to authorizing certain pharmacists to
administer certain vaccinations; requiring the Board of Pharmacy to set certain
fees; requiring the Board of Pharmacy, with the Board of Physicians and the
Board of Nursing, to jointly develop and adopt certain regulations; providing for
the effective date of certain provisions of this Act; providing for the termination
of certain provisions of this Act; and generally relating to the State Board of
Pharmacy and the practice of pharmacy.
