Ch. 1

MARYLAND, Sct.:

At a Session of the General Assembly of Maryland, begun and held in the City of
Annapolis on the Fourteenth Day of January 2004, and ending on the Twelfth
Day of April 2004, Robert L. Ehrlich, Jr. being Governor of the State, the
following laws were enacted, to wit:

CHAPTER 1

(Senate Bill 78 of 2003)

AN ACT concerning

Retirement and Pensions - Baltimore City Child Support Enforcement

Employees

FOR the purpose of providing a certain amount of service credit to certain State
employees who were formerly employed by a private vendor to provide child
support enforcement services in Baltimore City; requiring certain State
employees to deposit a certain amount of money into a certain fund; reducing
certain retirees' allowances if a certain amount of money is not deposited into a
certain fund; and generally relating to service credit for certain members of the
State Retirement and Pension System who were employed by a private vendor
to provide child support enforcement services in Baltimore City.

BY adding to

Article - State Personnel and Pensions

Section 22-305.1 and 23-307.4

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1997 Replacement Volume and 2002 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - State Personnel and Pensions

22-305.1.

(A) THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY TO A MEMBER OF THE EMPLOYEES'
RETIREMENT SYSTEM WHO:

EXPLANATION: CAPITALS INDICATE MATTER ADDED TO EXISTING LAW.

Underlining indicates amendments to bill.
