Occasionally, the term "tip jar licensee" is used in this subtitle as a
synonym for a "person who holds a tip jar license". Since "tip jar license" is
defined, "tip jar licensee" need not be defined separately.
(G) TIP JAR PACKET.
"TIP JAR PACKET" MEANS A PACKAGE OF NUMBERS, SERIES OF NUMBERS, OR
SYMBOLS ON FOLDED OR SEALED PIECES OF PAPER THAT IS DESIGNED TO BE SOLD
THROUGH A TIP JAR AND THAT IS SUFFICIENT FOR A SINGLE TIP JAR GAME.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without
substantive change from former Art. 27, § 255C(a)(9).
The reference to "numbers, series of numbers, or symbols on folded or
sealed pieces of paper" is substituted for the former reference to "tips" for
consistency with the definition of "tip jar". See subsection (e) of this
section.
(H) WHOLESALER'S LICENSE.
"WHOLESALER'S LICENSE" MEANS A LICENSE THAT THE AGENCY ISSUES TO
SELL OR WHOLESALE TIP JAR PACKETS FOR PROFIT.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language derived without
substantive change from former Art. 27, § 255C(a)(11).
The former phrase "in the County" is deleted in light of § 13-2402 of this
subtitle, which limits the application of this subtitle to Washington County.
13-2415. GAMING COMMISSION — ESTABLISHED.
THERE IS A WASHINGTON COUNTY GAMING COMMISSION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section formerly was Art. 27, § 255C(b).
It is set forth as a separate section for emphasis.
No changes are made.
13-2416. SAME — MEMBERSHIP.
(A) COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS.
