13-1706. PENALTIES.
(A) IN GENERAL.
A PERSON WHO VIOLATES A PROVISION OF §§, 13-1702 THROUGH 13-1704 OF THIS
SUBTITLE IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO
IMPRISONMENT NOT EXCEEDING 1 YEAR OR A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $1,000 OR BOTH.
(B) SEPARATE VIOLATION.
EACH DAY THAT A PERSON IS IN VIOLATION UNDER THIS SECTION IS A
SEPARATE VIOLATION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, § 253(j).
In subsection (b) of this section, the reference to a separate "violation" is
substituted for the former reference to a separate "offense" for consistency
within this article. See General Revisor's Note to article.

SUBTITLE 18. MONTGOMERY COUNTY.
13-1801. DEFINITIONS.
(A) IN GENERAL.
IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS INDICATED.

introductory language to a definition section.
(B) BREAKOUT TICKET.
"BREAKOUT TICKET" INCLUDES INSTANT BINGO, NEVADA CLUB, LUCKY SEVEN,
AND SIMILAR GAMES.

substantive change from former Art. 27, § 255B(b)(10).
(C) QUALIFIED ORGANIZATION.
(1) "QUALIFIED ORGANIZATION" MEANS A BONA FIDE NONPROFIT
ORGANIZATION QUALIFIED UNDER 26 U.S.C. § 501(C)(3), (4), (7), OR (10).
(2) "QUALIFIED ORGANIZATION" INCLUDES:
(I) A RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION;
(II) A VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY;
(III) A VOLUNTEER RESCUE SQUAD;
(IV) A FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION;
