In subsection (c)(2) of this section, the former limitation "[n]otwithstanding
any other provision of this article," is deleted in light of § 13-101 of this
title and the reorganization of material derived from the former "Gaming"
subheading of Article 27 in Titles 12 and 13 of this article.
In subsection (c)(2)(v)2 of this section, the phrase "intends to use two or
more gaming devices" is added to clarify that the permit is for the use of
multiple gaming devices.
Also in subsection (c)(2)(v)2 of this section, the phrase "multiple gaming
devices" is added for clarity.
In subsection (e)(1)(ii) of this section, the reference to the "same" year is
added for clarity.
In subsection (e)(2) of this section, the reference to "[t]he county
commissioners" is added to clarify who is prohibited from issuing the
permit.
In subsection (e)(3)(ii) of this section, the former reference to permits
issued to "organizations" is deleted as surplusage.
In subsection (f)(1) of this section, the reference to an "organization that is
issued a permit" is substituted for the former reference to "organization
receiving the permit" for clarity and brevity.
In subsection (f)(2)(i) of this section, the reference to "a resident of" is
substituted for the former reference to "individuals domiciled" for clarity.
In subsection (f)(2)(ii) of this section, the reference to "[e]ach permit
holder" is substituted for the former reference to "[e]ach organization" for
clarity.
In subsection (f)(2)(iii) of this section, the former reference to
"management" of a gaming activity is deleted as included in the reference
to "operating" a gaming activity.
In subsection (g)(1) of this section, the reference to "[t]he permit holder" is
added to clarify which entity has the obligation imposed under this section.
Also in subsection (g)(1) of this section, the phrase "raised using the
permit" is substituted for the former phrase "derived from a multiple
gaming device fundraiser that permits the use of two or more gaming
devices" for brevity.
In subsection (h) of this section, the former reference to "the provisions of"
is deleted as surplusage.
