ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS MAY CONDUCT BINGO TO BENEFIT
CHARITY IN THE COUNTY OR TO FURTHER THE PURPOSES OF THE ORGANIZATION:
(1) A BONA FIDE:
(I) RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATION;
(II) FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION;
(III) PATRIOTIC ORGANIZATION;
(IV) EDUCATIONAL ORGANIZATION; OR
(V) CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION; OR
(2) A VOLUNTEER FIRE COMPANY.
(B) OPERATION BY COUNTY RESIDENTS ONLY.
A PERSON WHO IS NOT A LEGAL RESIDENT OF THE COUNTY MAY NOT CONDUCT
BINGO IN THE COUNTY, EVEN IF THE GAME IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF AN
ORGANIZATION LISTED IN SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.
REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, § 250.
In subsection (a) of this section, the former references to "corporations" and
a "corporation" are deleted as included in the references to an
"organization".
Also in subsection (a) of this section, the former term "operate" is deleted
as redundant of "conduct". Similarly, in subsection (b) of this section, the
term "conduct" is substituted for the former term "operate" for consistency
with other subtitles in this article.
Also in subsection (a) of this section, the former reference to a "game of"
bingo is deleted for consistency within this title.
In subsection (b) of this section, the defined term "person" is substituted
for the former reference to an "individual, partnership, corporation, group,
or organization" for clarity. See § 1-101 of this article.

13-1603. OTHER GAMING EVENTS.
A QUALIFIED ORGANIZATION UNDER SUBTITLE 2 OF THIS TITLE MAY AWARD
PRIZES IN MONEY OR MERCHANDISE USING:
(1) A PADDLE WHEEL;
(2) A WHEEL OF FORTUNE;
(3) A CHANCE BOOK;
(4) BINGO; OR
