A PERSON MAY NOT IMPORT INTO THE STATE, OFFER FOR SALE, TRADE,
BARTER, OR EXCHANGE AS A HOUSEHOLD PET A LIVE: (1) FOX, SKUNK, RACCOON, OR BEAR; (2) ALLIGATOR OR CROCODILE; (3) MEMBER OF THE CAT FAMILY OTHER THAN THE DOMESTIC CAT; OR (4) POISONOUS SNAKE IN THE FAMILY GROUPS OF HYDROPHIDAE,
ELAPIDAE, VIPERIDAE, OR CROTOLIDAE. (C) PENALTY. A PERSON WHO VIOLATES THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND
ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO: (1) IF AN INDIVIDUAL, A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $1,000; OR (2) IF NOT AN INDIVIDUAL, A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $10,000. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, § 70D. Defined terms: "Animal" § 10-601
"Person" § 1-101 10-622. INJURING OR TRAPPING CARRIER PIGEON. (A) PROHIBITED — KILLING OR MAIMING. A PERSON MAY NOT SHOOT, KILL, OR MAIM A CARRIER PIGEON. (B) SAME — TRAPPING OR DETAINING. A PERSON MAY NOT ENTRAP, CATCH, OR DETAIN A CARRIER PIGEON THAT HAS: (1) THE OWNER'S NAME STAMPED ON THE CARRIER PIGEON'S WING OR TAIL; OR (2) A LEG BAND THAT INCLUDES THE OWNER'S INITIALS, NAME, OR NUMBER (C) PENALTY. A PERSON WHO VIOLATES THIS SECTION IS GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR AND
ON CONVICTION IS SUBJECT TO A FINE NOT EXCEEDING $10 FOR EACH VIOLATION. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, §§ 64, 65, and 66. In subsection (a) of this section, the term "carrier pigeon" is substituted for
the former reference to "Antwerp or homing" pigeons for brevity. Also in subsection (a) of this section, the former reference to "persons" is
