FOR the purpose of retroactively providing that certain persons are entitled to receive
certain accidental disability benefits upon becoming physically impaired and
thereby unable to perform the essential duties of the job; clarifying that certain
accidental disability benefits may be paid when certain members persons
become accidentally disabled in service; making certain technical and stylistic
changes, providing for the application of this Act; providing for the effective date
of this Act and generally relating to accidental disability benefits for certain
members.
