The Honorable Casper R. Taylor, Jr.
Speaker of the House
State House

Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the Maryland Constitution, I have today
vetoed House Bill 351 - Anne Arundel County - Maryland Therapy and Education

This bill extends the deadline, from June 1, 2002 to June 1, 2004, for the Board of
Directors of Maryland Therapeutic Riding, Incorporated, as grantee, to provide
matching funds.
Senate Bill 300, which was passed by the General Assembly and signed by me,
accomplishes the same purpose. Therefore, it is not necessary for me to sign House
Bill 351.
Sincerely,
Parris N. Glendening
