County. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments
Section 452 Annotated Code of Maryland (1996 Replacement Volume and 2001 Supplement) SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows: Article 27 - Crimes and Punishments 452. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person or persons to place or cause to be placed
upon any property of the State, county, city or town, or upon any property in which
the person or persons have no right, title, interest, or estate, any political poster,
placard, picture, sign, transparency, or advertisement. (b) Any person or persons so doing shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not
more than $50 nor less than $10 and costs. (c) The requirements of this section apply only in the following counties:
(1) Allegany County
(2) Anne Arundel County
(3) Baltimore County
(4) Carroll County
(5) Charles County
(6) Harford County
(7) Howard County
(8) Prince George's County
(9) Queen Anne's County
(10) Washington County
(11) [Worcester County
(12)] Wicomico County.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2002.
