Ch. 26 2002 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(1) FINANCIAL. DATA; (2) SALES DATA OTHER THAN SHIPMENT DATA; OR (3) PRICING DATA. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, § 294(b). In subsection (a)(2) of this section, the defined term "possess" is
substituted for the former reference to "hold" to conform to the terminology
used elsewhere in this title. Also in subsection (a)(2) of this section, the former word "otherwise" is
deleted as unnecessary. In the introductory language of subsection (e) of this section, the former
reference to the Department "and its agents" is deleted as implicit in the
reference to the "Department". In subsection (e)(4) of this section, the reference to an exceptional or
emergency "situation" is substituted for the former reference to an
exceptional or emergency "circumstance" to conform to the terminology
used elsewhere in this subsection. Defined terms: "Agent" § 5-101 "Controlled dangerous substance" § 5-101 "Deliver" § 5-101 "Department" § 5-101 "Manufacture" § 5-101 "Person" § 1-101 "Possess" § 5-101 "Registrant" § 5-101 5-806. TEMPORARY AND PERMANENT INJUNCTIONS. THE DEPARTMENT, THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, AND THE STATE'S ATTORNEY FOR
A COUNTY MAY APPLY TO THE APPROPRIATE COURT FOR A TEMPORARY OR
PERMANENT INJUNCTION TO RESTRAIN A PERSON FROM VIOLATING THIS TITLE: (1) WHETHER OR NOT AN ADEQUATE REMEDY AT LAW EXISTS; (2) IN ADDITION TO THE OTHER REMEDIES PROVIDED BY THIS TITLE; AND (3) NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER LAW. REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived without substantive
change from former Art. 27, § 295. In the introductory language of this section, the former reference to any
county "or Baltimore City, as the case may be" is deleted as unnecessary
