(i) the Department of Juvenile Justice; or (ii) a juvenile court. 10-220. (a) Except as provided in [subsection] SUBSECTIONS (b) AND (C) of this
section, notwithstanding any other provision of this subtitle, a criminal justice unit
and the Central Repository may not maintain or disseminate criminal history record
information in a way that is inconsistent with § 3-8A-27 of the Courts Article. (b) Notwithstanding § 3-8A-27(a) of the Courts Article, criminal history
record information on a child and a record of the fingerprinting of a child required
under § 10-216(e) of this subtitle need not be maintained separate from such records
on adults. (C) FOR JUVENILES ARRESTED AND BROUGHT TO THE BALTIMORE CITY
JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTER FOR INTAKE PROCESSING, IDENTIFICATION, AND
ASSESSMENT, THE DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE MAY: (1) SUBMIT FINGERPRINTS TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE INFORMATION
SYSTEM CENTRAL REPOSITORY; AND (2) OBTAIN JUVENILE DATA DESCRIBED UNDER § 2-118.1 OF ARTICLE 83C. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 2002. Approved May 16, 2002.
CHAPTER 555
(House Bill 1019) AN ACT concerning Charles County - Sheriff's Office - Collective Bargaining FOR the purpose of establishing collective bargaining rights for certain sworn law
enforcement officers and correctional officers in the Charles County Sheriff's
Office; authorizing certain bargaining units; providing that certain sworn law
enforcement officers and correctional officers may be required to pay a certain
service fee; authorizing the Sheriff and the Office of the Sheriff to make certain
determinations and take certain actions relating to the mission, operation, and
employees of the Office of the Sheriff; providing for the selection and recognition
of an exclusive representative; authorizing the Sheriff and the exclusive
representative to designate certain representatives; requiring the parties to
meet at reasonable times and engage in collective bargaining in good faith;
providing that certain negotiations shall be considered closed sessions; requiring
negotiations to begin on certain dates under certain circumstances; requiring
