(2) The granting of probation before judgment to a licensee or employee
of the licensee for violating subsection (a) of this section does not bar the Board of
License Commissioners from proceeding administratively against the licensee for the
violation.
Article - Criminal Procedure
4-101.
(b) (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, in addition to any other
law allowing a crime to be charged by citation, a police officer may issue a citation for:
(i) SALE OF AN ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE TO AN UNDERAGE
DRINKER OR INTOXICATED PERSON UNDER ARTICLE 2B, § 12-108 OF THE CODE;
(II) malicious destruction of property under Article 27, § 111(b) of
the Code, if the amount of damage to the property is less than $500;
[(ii)](III) disturbing the peace or disorderly conduct under Article
27, § 121 of the Code; or
[(iii)] (IV) misdemeanor theft under Article 27, § 342(f)(2) of the
Code.
(2) A police officer may issue a citation to a defendant if the police officer
is satisfied with the defendant's evidence of identity and reasonably believes that the
defendant will comply with the citation.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

AN ACT concerning
Primary and Secondary Education - Baltimore City-State Partnership
FOR the purpose of altering the name of the New Baltimore City Board of School
Commissioners to be the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners;
increasing a certain limit on the aggregate principal amount of certain bonds of
the Baltimore City Board of School Commissioners; providing for increased
community involvement and outreach in the Baltimore City Public School
System; establishing requiring the Department and the Baltimore City Public
School System to design a certain principal development initiative; altering
certain required components of the Baltimore City Public School System Master
Plan; requiring a certain evaluation within a certain period of time; requiring
certain officials of the State Department of Education and the Baltimore City
