SECTION 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 13-103(e)
and 13-110 of Article 41 - Governor - Executive and Administrative Departments of
the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed, SECTION 6. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That: (a) The obligation of the Maryland Food Center Authority established under
former Article 41, § 13-106 of the Code (repealed by Chapter 324 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 2001) for the payment of interest on and principal of the
outstanding bonds of the New Marsh Wholesale Produce Market Authority is
repealed, and the obligation of the Maryland Food Center Authority to the State for
the debt shall be deemed to be satisfied. (b) The obligation of the Maryland Food Center Authority established under
Article 41, § 13-110 of the Code (repealed under Section 5 of this Act) for the payment
of interest on and principal of bonds authorized under that section is repealed, and
the obligation of the Maryland Food Center Authority to the State for the debt
authorized under that section shall be deemed to be satisfied. (c) The Maryland Food Center Authority shall take any actions to defease or
redeem the outstanding Maryland Food Center Authority Revenue Bond (Maryland
Wholesale Seafood Market Project 1983 Series) as may be required to comply with the
Bond Resolution for that Revenue Bond. SECTION 7. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section(s) 2-614 and
2-615 of Article - Tax - General of the Annotated Code of Maryland be repealed. SECTION 8. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows: Article 83A - Department of Business and Economic Development 4-208. (g) (2) The Governor shall include in the annual budget bill a proposed General Fund appropriation to the Fund in an amount not less than[: (i) $1,000,000, for fiscal year 1999; (ii) $5,000,000, for fiscal year 2000; (iii) $6,000,000, for fiscal year 2001 and fiscal year 2002,
respectively; and (iv) $8,500,000, for fiscal year 2003 and each fiscal year thereafter]
$6,000,000 FOR EACH FISCAL YEAR. Article 83A - Department of Business and Economic Development 4-208. (g) (2) The Governor shall include in the annual budget bill a proposed
General Fund appropriation to the Fund in an amount not less than:
