NG00.08 Assistance Payments
Provided that no grant increase be provided
for Temporary Cash Assistance payments
in fiscal 2003. Contingent on enactment of
SB 323 or HB 424 that includes a
provision authorizing the use of
$3,300,000 in fiscal 2003 from the Joseph
Fund (YA06.01) for Temporary Cash
Assistance payments (NG00.08) in the
Department of Human Resources, the
Department of Human Resources shall
provide a Temporary Cask Assistance
grant increase, effective January 1, 2003,
that brings the combination of the grant
and food stamps to 61 percent of the
State's minimum living level.
