(B) A PUBLIC AUTHORITY MAY NOT ACCEPT ANY INTERIOR DESIGN
DOCUMENT DESCRIBED IN THIS SECTION UNLESS THE DOCUMENT IS ENDORSED AS
REQUIRED UNDER SUBSECTION (A) OF THIS SECTION.
8-404.
(A) EACH CERTIFIED INTERIOR DESIGNER SHALL OBTAIN A SEAL FOR USE AS
REQUIRED UNDER § 8-403 OF THIS SUBTITLE.
(B) THE SEAL SHALL:
(1) BE OF A DESIGN DETERMINED BY THE BOARD; AND
(2) INCLUDE:
(I) THE LEGEND "CERTIFIED INTERIOR DESIGNER"; AND
(II) THE NAME OF THE CERTIFIED INTERIOR DESIGNER WHO
HOLDS THE SEAL.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

(House Bill 744)
AN ACT concerning
Howard County - Alcoholic Beverages - Background Checks
Ho. Co. 4-02
FOR the purpose of requiring the Howard County Board of License Commissioners to
obtain certain information regarding applicants for issuance or renewal of
alcoholic beverages licenses; restricting access to certain information to
members, attorneys representing the Boards, clerks, administrators, and
inspectors of the Board of License Commissioners and the Alcoholic Beverage
Hearing Board; making a certain stylistic change; making this Act an emergency
measure; and generally relating to background checks of applicants for issuance
or renewal of alcoholic beverages licenses in Howard County.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages
Section 10-103(b)(13)(i), (ii), and (xi)
Annotated Code of Maryland
