PROVISION OF THIS ARTICLE OR ANY REGULATION, RULE, OR ORDER ADOPTED
UNDER THIS ARTICLE, AND THAT IMMEDIATE ACTION AGAINST THE PERSON IS IN
THE PUBLIC INTEREST, THE COMMISSION MAY ORDER THE PERSON TO CEASE AND
DESIST FROM THE ACT OR PRACTICE.
(B) AFTER THE COMMISSION ISSUES A CEASE AND DESIST ORDER, THE
ALLEGED VIOLATOR MAY SUBMIT A WRITTEN REQUEST FOR A HEARING TO THE
COMMISSION.
(C) A SUMMARY CEASE AND DESIST ORDER BECOMES FINAL IF THE ALLEGED VIOLATOR
DOES NOT REQUEST A HEARING WITHIN 15 DAYS AFTER RECEIVING THE
SUMMARY CEASE AND DESIST ORDER
(D) THE HEARING SHALL BEGIN;
(1) WITHIN 15 BUSINESS DAYS AFTER THE COMMISSION RECEIVES THE
REQUEST FOR A HEARING; OR
(2) WITH THE CONSENT OF THE ALLEGED VIOLATOR, AT A LATER DATE.
(E) IF THE COMMISSION DOES NOT BEGIN A TIMELY HEARING WITHIN THE
APPLICABLE TIME LIMIT PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (D) OF THIS SECTION, THE
CEASE AND DESIST ORDER IS DEEMED RESCINDED.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

AN ACT concerning
Natural Resources - Angler's Licenses
FOR the purpose of repealing the requirement that an application for an angler's
license contain the applicant's age and height; altering certain angler's license
fees; altering certain angler's license fees; establishing a certain nonresident
short-term license and establishing a certain fee for the license; altering the
compensation an agent who sells angler's licenses may retain; altering the
compensation an agent who sells angler's licenses may retain; making certain
technical and administrative changes; and generally relating to angler's
licenses.
