(House Bill 742)
AN ACT concerning
Local Governments - Financial Reports - Submission Date
FOR the purpose of allowing counties, municipal corporations, and taxing districts in
the State with a population in excess of a certain number to file with the
Department of Legislative Services, by January 1 after the close of the fiscal
year, the annual financial reports they are required by law to file with the
Department; extending the time that counties, municipal corporations, special
taxing districts, and public corporations with a population in excess of a certain
number have to submit to the Department certain reports relating to
indebtedness; making stylistic and technical changes; and generally relating to
the submission of financial reports by local governments and other entities to
the Department of Legislative Services.
