Ch. 227 2002 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(3) a summary of the Commission's efforts to inform the public of the
home inspector licensing requirements; and (4) a summary of the number and types of complaints received against
home inspectors, including the resolution of complaints. SECTION 4. 5. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take

CHAPTER 227
(House Bill 491) AN ACT concerning Workers' Compensation - Principal Contractor - Liability FOR the purpose of limiting the liability of a principal contractor for workers'
compensation payments if a sole proprietor does not notify the principal
contractor of the sole proprietor's status as a covered employee; altering the
circumstances under which an individual is presumed to be a sole proprietor
who is not a covered employee; providing for a certain presumption that a sole
proprietor is not a covered employee if the sole proprietor provides a certain
notice to the principal contractor; and generally relating to workers'
compensation payments. BY repealing and reenacting, without amendments,
