(ii) While using any narcotic or controlled dangerous substance, as
defined in [Article 27 of the Code] § 5-101 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW ARTICLE, or other
drug that is in excess of therapeutic amounts or without valid medical indication;

(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 14-405 of this title, the Board may
deny a license or temporary license to any applicant, reprimand any licensee or holder
of a temporary license, place any licensee or holder of a temporary license on
probation, or suspend or revoke a license or temporary license if the applicant,
licensee, or holder:
(7) Is addicted to or habitually abuses any narcotic or controlled
dangerous substance as defined in [Article 27 of the Code] § 5-101 OF THE CRIMINAL
LAW ARTICLE;
(8) Provides professional services while:
(ii) Using any narcotic or controlled dangerous substance as
defined in [Article 27 of the Code] § 5-101 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW ARTICLE or any
other drug that is in excess of therapeutic amounts or without valid medical
indication;

(b) (1) A supervising physician may not delegate the prescribing of
substances that are identified as Schedule I controlled dangerous substances under
[Article 27, § 279 of the Code] § 5-102 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW ARTICLE.
16- 312.
(a) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 16-314 of this subtitle, the Board, on
the affirmative vote of a majority of its members then serving, may deny a license or
a limited license to any applicant, reprimand any licensee or holder of a limited
license, impose an administrative monetary penalty not exceeding $5,000 on any
licensee or holder of a limited license, place any licensee or holder of a limited license
on probation, or suspend or revoke a license or a limited license if the applicant,
licensee, or holder:
(5) Provides professional services while:
(ii) Using any narcotic or controlled dangerous substance, as
defined in [Article 27 of the Code] § 5-101 OF THE CRIMINAL LAW ARTICLE, or other
drug that is in excess of therapeutic amounts or without valid medical indication;

Subject to the hearing provisions of § 19-312 of this subtitle, the Board may
deny a license to any applicant, fine a licensee, reprimand any licensee, place any
licensee on probation, or suspend or revoke a license if the applicant or licensee:
