AN ACT concerning
Criminal Law Article - Cross-References and Corrections
FOR the purpose of correcting certain cross-references to the Criminal Law Article in
the Annotated Code of Maryland; correcting certain cross-references, errors,
and omissions in the Criminal Law Article; clarifying the application of certain
provisions; clarifying the application of certain penalties; clarifying the scope of
certain provisions; clarifying the authority of certain officers; clarifying the
standard for contempt in certain circumstances; transferring certain provisions
of law to other articles; making stylistic changes; providing a delayed effective
date for certain provisions of this Act, subject to a certain contingency; and
generally relating to the Criminal Law Article and cross-references and
corrections to it.
