(b) (1) The Executive Director of the Governor's Office of Crime Control and
Prevention, the Attorney General, and two of the members of the Advisory Board that
the Secretary recommends shall serve on the Advisory Board as ex officio members.
(2) From the persons the Secretary recommends to the Governor to serve
on the Advisory Board, the Secretary shall designate the voting member.
(c) The Advisory Board sets the times and places of its meetings.
(d) A member of the Advisory Board:
(1) shall serve without compensation; but
(2) is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State
Travel Regulations, as provided in the State budget.
(e) Subject to the approval of the head of the appropriate unit, the Advisory
Board may use the staff and facilities of the Department, the Administrative Office of
the Courts, and the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention in the
performance of its functions.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

FOR the purpose of authorizing a judge to perform a marriage ceremony; defining a
certain term; making this Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to
marriage ceremonies.
