[(vi)] (V) If a member who was elected from a specific legislative
district ceases to reside in that district, the member may not continue to serve on the
Central Committee.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 1 of this Act
shall take effect October 1, 2002. It shall remain effective until the taking effect of
Section 2 of this Act. If Section 2 of this Act takes effect, Section 1 of this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section 2 of this Act shall
take effect on the taking effect of Chapter 291 (S.B. 1) of the Acts of the General
Assembly of 2002. If Section 2 of this Act takes effect. Section 1 of this Act shall be
abrogated and of no further force and effect.
SECTION 4. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to the
provisions of Section 3 of this Act, this Act shall take effect January 1, 2003 June 1,
2002.

AN ACT concerning
Veterinarians - Animal Cruelty - Reporting
FOR the purpose of requiring the State Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners to
adopt regulations requiring encouraging a veterinary practitioner to report
suspected instances of certain animal cruelty to certain agencies; establishing
certain civil immunity for a veterinary practitioner who makes certain reports of
suspected animal cruelty to certain agencies; making certain stylistic changes;
and generally relating to reports of suspected animal cruelty by a veterinary
practitioner.
