(iii) an immediate relative of an employee, officer, or partner of the
contractor.
(2) An owner may make a claim against the Fund only if the owner:
(i) resides in the home as to which the claim is made; or
(ii) does not own more than 3 residences or dwelling places.
[(g)] (H) A claim shall be brought against the Fund within 3 years after the
claimant discovered or, by use of ordinary diligence, should have discovered the loss or
damage.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

(Senate Bill 599)
AN ACT concerning
Natural Resources - Hunting Licenses and Stamps
FOR the purpose of eliminating certain hunting licenses and stamps; altering certain
hunting licenses and stamps; creating a Maryland migratory game bird stamp;
altering the fees for certain hunting stamps and licenses; altering the fees paid
to license agents for selling hunting licenses and stamps; providing that a
portion of the funds from the sale of certain licenses be used for processing deer
for the needy; repealing certain licensing exemptions for certain persons;
requiring that the proceeds from the sale of certain stamps be used for certain
purposes; altering the duties of a certain advisory committee; defining a certain
term; specifying a certain legislative intent for a certain use of certain revenues;
requiring the Department to report certain information at a certain time;
providing for the effective date of this Act; and generally relating to hunting
licenses and stamps.
