Article, on the implementation of the recommendations of the Department of
Legislative Services contained in the sunset evaluation report dated October 2001.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Board of
Environmental Sanitarians, in conjunction with the Department of the Environment
and the Department of Natural Resources, shall report to the Senate Education,
Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee and the House Environmental Matters
Committee on or before October 1, 2003, in accordance with § 2-1246 of the State
Government Article, on whether any of the current exemptions under § 11-301(b) of
the Maryland Environmental Sanitarian Act should be eliminated and the reasons for
eliminating them. The report should include any draft legislation necessary to
implement the recommendations.
SECTION 4. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 2002.

AN ACT concerning
Workers' Compensation - Construction Carve Out - Sunset Repeal
FOR the purpose of repealing a certain termination provision that governs certain
types of collective bargaining agreements between an employer and a certified
exclusive bargaining representative regarding workers' compensation; and
generally relating to collective bargaining agreements with respect to workers'
compensation.
