SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That the Department shall
establish a process, which may include a website, that provides access to information
about contracts for goods or commodities held by public agencies or
intergovernmental purchasing organizations.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2002.

CHAPTER 172
(Senate Bill 490)
AN ACT concerning
Board of Environmental Sanitarians - Sunset Extension and Program
Evaluation
FOR the purpose of continuing the Board of Environmental Sanitarians in accordance
with the provisions of the Maryland Program Evaluation Act (Sunset Law) by
extending to a certain date the termination provisions relating to statutory and
regulatory authority of the Board; requiring that an evaluation of the Board and
the statutes and regulations that relate to the Board be performed on or before
a certain date; altering the membership of the Board; requiring the Board to
report to certain committees on or before a certain date; requiring the Board, in
conjunction with the Department of the Environment and the Department of
Natural Resources, to report to certain committees on or before a certain date;
and generally relating to the Board of Environmental Sanitarians.
