A1-114. AUTHORITY TO AMEND OR REPEAL.
THIS APPENDIX, ENACTED PURSUANT TO ARTICLE III, SECTION 61 OF THE
CONSTITUTION OF MARYLAND, MAY BE AMENDED OR REPEALED ONLY BY THE
GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF MARYLAND.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

(Senate Bill 327)
AN ACT concerning
State Board of Examiners of Psychologists - Powers and Duties
FOR the purpose of altering the number of days within which the State Board of
Examiners of Psychologists must forward a certain complaint to a licensed
psychologist; altering the number of days within which the Board must dispose
of a certain complaint; providing that a certain decision of the Board to enforce
suspension of a license for more than a certain period of time may not be stayed
pending judicial review; and generally relating to the State Board of Examiners
of Psychologists.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Health Occupations
18-206.
(a) In addition to the powers set forth elsewhere in this title, the Board may
adopt rules and regulations to carry out the provisions of this title.
(b) In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere in this title, the Board shall:
(1) Establish procedures for receiving and investigating complaints,
