SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article 5 - Calvert County
2-101.
(A) Five county commissioners comprise the Board of County Commissioners
of Calvert County.
(B) (1) The annual salary of the president of the board is [$32,500, and the]:
(I) $37,500 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2002;
(II) $38,500 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2003;
(III) $39,500 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2004; AND
(IV) $40,500 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2005 AND EACH SUBSEQUENT
CALENDAR YEAR
(2) THE annual salary of each of the associate members of the board is
[$30,000]:
(I) $35,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2002;
(II) $36,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2003;
(III) $37,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2004; AND
(IV) $38,000 FOR CALENDAR YEAR 2005 AND EACH SUBSEQUENT
CALENDAR YEAR.
(C) Each commissioner may be reimbursed up to an annual total of $2,000, for
any reasonable costs incurred by the commissioner in carrying out the functions of the
office.
