[(2)] (3) The permit fee requirement of paragraph (1) OF THIS
SUBSECTION AND LATE FEE REQUIREMENT OF PARAGRAPH (2) of this subsection
[does] DO not apply to a volunteer fire department or volunteer ambulance and
rescue company.
(b) A person may not advertise in written or printed form that a fireworks
display will take place in Baltimore City unless the advertisement states:
(1) That the promoter is covered by a policy of liability insurance; and
(2) The name of the insurance carrier and the policy number of the
insurance policy.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

AN ACT concerning
State Highways - Designation - Vietnam Veterans Highway
FOR the purpose of requiring the State Highway Administration to designate a
certain highway as the Vietnam Veterans Highway; and generally relating to
State highway designations.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Article - Transportation
8-650.
(A) The Administration shall designate the portion of Maryland Route 24
located between the U.S. Route 1 Bypass and U.S. Route 40 as the Vietnam Veterans
Memorial Highway.
(B) THE ADMINISTRATION SHALL DESIGNATE THE PORTION OF MARYLAND
ROUTE 157 KNOWN AS THE PENINSULA EXPRESSWAY AS THE VIETNAM VETERANS
HIGHWAY.
