AN ACT concerning
Health - Maryland AIDS Insurance Assistance Program - Sunset Extension
FOR the purpose of extending the termination date of certain provisions of the
Maryland AIDS Insurance Assistance Program; and generally relating to the
Maryland AIDS Insurance Assistance Program.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,
Chapter 188 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1990, as amended by
Chapter 44 of the Acts of the General Assembly of 1992, Chapter 147 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of 1994, and Chapter 75 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of 1998
Section 2
SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:
Chapter 188 of the Acts of 1990, as amended by Chapter 44 of the Acts of 1992,
Chapter 147 of the Acts of 1994, and Chapter 75 of the Acts of 1998
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1990. It shall remain effective for a period of [12] 20 years and, at the end of
June 30, [2002] 2010, with no further action required by the General Assembly, this
Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2002.

Fireworks - Permits for Display - Late Fees
FOR the purpose of authorizing requiring the State Fire Marshal to charge late fees
under certain circumstances; requiring certain persons to pay certain fees under
certain circumstances; and generally relating to special permits for display of
fireworks.
