Article, a schedule of prepayable fines for a first offense misdemeanor violation of this
section and regulations adopted under this section. The amount of a prepayable fine
may be no more than the maximum and no less than the minimum criminal penalty
established by the General Assembly in this section.

(2) By paying a fine set under this section instead of appearing for trial
in District Court, a person is voluntarily accepting a conviction for the offense
charged.

[(h)] (G) If the District Court or circuit court imposes a fine for a violation of
this section, the court shall collect the fine and forward it to the Commission.

Prince George's County or a department of the county responsible for issuing the
permit shall place conditions on a grading permit issued or to be issued under
Subtitle 4, Division 3 of the Prince George's County Code [(1995 Edition)] (1999
EDITION), involving 10 acres of land or more in the Prince George's County portion of
the regional district, if the county or the department finds there is or would be an
adverse effect, as a result of noise or traffic, on the safety, health, or welfare of the
residents in the immediate area of the land that is the subject of the grading permit.

Error: Obsolete reference in Art. 28, § 8-119.1.

Occurred: As a result of the issuance of a new edition of the Prince
George's County Code.

(b) On an ongoing basis, the Commission shall inform the Department of
Budget and Management, the Senate Budget and Taxation Committee, the House
Appropriations Committee, the House [Commerce and Government Matters]
HEALTH AND GOVERNMENT OPERATIONS Committee and the Chief Judge of the
Court of Appeals whether communication and information management systems
supported by State funds comply with applicable standards.
