An Act amending Section 16.121 Public Sites and Open Space of the Howard County
Code to permit R-MH (Residential Mobile Home) projects to satisfy the
recreational open space requirement by the construction of certain recreational
amenities.

Bill No. 51-2002

An Act amending Section 16.1107 Exemptions of the Howard County Code to permit
the Department of Planning and Zoning to exempt, under certain
circumstances, mobile home parks from certain provisions of the Adequate
Public Facilities Ordinance and to permit the Department of Planning and
Zoning to reassign mobile home replacement units from abandoned or
permanently closed mobile home parks.

Bill No. 52-2002

AN ACT requiring a pre-submission community meeting for certain petitions to the
Zoning Board, requiring the Department of Planning and Zoning to transmit its
findings and recommendations concerning petitions to the Zoning Board within
a certain amount of time and providing a process for individuals to question the
Department on such findings and recommendations.

Bill No. 54-2002

AN ACT establishing a property tax credit for certain energy conservation devices in
LEED Certified Green Buildings.

Bill No. 58-2002

An Act amending Subtitle 4 "Moderate Income Housing Units" of Title 13 Housing
and Community Development" of the Howard County Code by adding a new
provision that allows developers of age-restricted adult housing located within
the Planned Service Area to provide moderate income housing units at alternate
development sites.
