COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

FOR the purpose of adding Bog Protection Areas and a Bog Protection Program to the
standards for granting a variance in regards to zoning appeals; amending the
Floodplain Management, Sediment Control and Stormwater Management,
Subdivision, and Zoning articles of the County Code to provide for a Bog
Protection Program; providing certain definitions that pertain to bogs and Bog
Protection Areas; providing for the protection of bogs by delineating the amount
of development, including subdivision and grading, that will be permitted upon
lands within Bog Protection Areas; providing standards for development within
Bog Protection Areas; providing for the adoption of the Bog Protection Area
Guidance Map; and matters generally relating to the County's Bog Protection
Program.
