RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF SMITHSBURG TO
AMEND AND REVISE THE CHARTER OF THE TOWN OF SMITHSBURG

RESOLUTION of the Council of the Town of Smithsburg, adopted pursuant to the
authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland, the Charter of the Town of
Smithsburg, as said Charter was enacted by and under the laws of Article 23A of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, 1957, as subsequently amended, title
"Corporations-Municipal", subtitle "Charter Amendments", by adding, deleting,
revising, or amending numerous sections of the Charter of the Town of Smithsburg,
the full text of which proposed changes is as follows in this document, a copy of which
shall be on file, for public inspection, in the Smithsburg Town Hall.

[Charter of the Town of Smithsburg, Washington County, as found in the Public
Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal Charters (1990 Replacement
Edition and 2002 Supplement) repealed and reenacted, with amendments.
