Effective Date August 6, 2002]

(Annexation No. 1 - Fourth Street Area Annexation)

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF OAKLAND
adopted pursuant to the authority of Article XI-E of the Constitution of Maryland and
Section 19 of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (Volume 1, 2001
Replacement Volume), to amend the Charter of the Mayor and Town Council of
Oakland as adopted on June 10, 2000, by the Mayor and Town Council of Oakland by
amending Section 1-102, "Boundaries". The effect of the boundary amendment is to
enlarge the corporate boundaries as recorded, pursuant to Section 1-102 of the Town's
Charter with the Clerk of the Court for Garrett County.

County, as found in the Public Local Laws of Maryland - Compilation of Municipal
