S.B. 549 VETOES (vi) one member shall represent the Association of Public-Safety (vii) two members shall represent county fire services in the State, (viii) one member shall represent police services in the State; (ix) one member shall represent emergency management services in (X) ONE MEMBER SHALL REPRESENT A COUNTY WITH A (XI) ONE MEMBER SHALL REPRESENT A COUNTY WITH A (XII) ONE MEMBER SHALL REPRESENT THE MARYLAND CHAPTER OF [(x)] (3) The Governor shall appoint the members with the advice and consent (c) (1) The term of a member is 4 years and begins on July 1. (2) The terms of the members are staggered as required by the terms (3) At the end of a term, a member continues to serve until a successor is (4) If a vacancy occurs after a term has begun, the Governor shall appoint (5) A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only for the (d) The Governor shall appoint a chairperson from among the Board members.
