(8)     examine potential sources of increased funding for State brownfields
programs; and

(9)     study any other issues related to the State's brownfields programs
that the members of the Task Force consider appropriate.

(g) The Task Force shall report its findings and recommendations to the
Governor and, subject to § 2-1246 of the State Government Article, the General
Assembly on or before December 31, 2003.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 2003. Section 2 of this Act shall remain effective for a period of eight months
and, at the end of January 31, 2004, with no further action required by the General
Assembly, Section 2 of this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and effect.
