Ch. 422 2003 LAWS OF MARYLAND Article - Health Occupations SUBTITLE 6B. ELECTROLOGISTS. (A) IN THIS SUBTITLE THE FOLLOWING WORDS HAVE THE MEANINGS (B) "BOARD" MEANS THE STATE BOARD OF NURSING. (C) "COMMITTEE" MEANS THE ELECTROLOGY PRACTICE COMMITTEE. (D) "ELECTROLOGIST" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO PRACTICES (E) "ELECTROLOGY INSTRUCTOR" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO PRACTICES (F) "LICENSE" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES OTHERWISE, A (1) TO PRACTICE ELECTROLOGY; OR (2) TO PRACTICE ELECTROLOGY AND TEACH AN ELECTROLOGY (G) "LICENSED ELECTROLOGIST" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT REQUIRES (H) "LICENSED ELECTROLOGY INSTRUCTOR" MEANS, UNLESS THE CONTEXT (I) "PRACTICE ELECTROLOGY" MEANS TO REMOVE HAIR PERMANENTLY 8-6B-02. THIS SUBTITLE DOES NOT LIMIT THE RIGHT OF AN INDIVIDUAL TO PRACTICE A 8-6B-03. THE BOARD SHALL ADOPT REGULATIONS FOR THE LICENSURE OF 8-6B-04.
