Ch. 316 2003 LAWS OF MARYLAND [9-304. When an application for a license is submitted, the Commissioner shall (1) the character and financial standing of: (ii) each partner of a partnership applicant; (iii) each officer or director of a corporate applicant; and (iv) the individual who will be general manager of the office; and (2) the location of the office.] (a) Within 60 days after the Commissioner receives an application for a (1) approve or deny the application; and (2) give an applicant immediate notice of a denial. (b) Subject to the hearing provisions of § 9-311 of this subtitle, the (1) the applicant fraudulently or deceptively obtains or attempts to (2) the applicant fraudulently or deceptively uses a license; (3) the applicant, an officer or director of a corporate applicant, a partner (i) good moral character; (ii) business integrity; or (iii) financial responsibility; or (4) there is good and sufficient reason within the meaning and purpose [9-306. The Commissioner shall issue a license to each applicant who meets the [9-307. A license authorizes the licensee to do business as an employment agency only at - 2356 -
