Alice B. Tawes Nursing Home. Provide a grant in the total
principal amount of
$500,000 to the Board of Directors of the
McCready Foundation, Inc. for the repair, reconstruction,

renovation, and capital equipping of the Alice B. Tawes Nursing
Home to provide more space for intake of patients suffering
from lung cancer and heart disease, located in Crisfield
(Somerset County

American Red Cross. Provide a grant equal to the lesser of (i)
$250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided, to
the Board of Directors of the Frederick County Chapter of the
American Red Cross for the acquisition of land and renovation
of the headquarters of the Frederick County Chapter of the
American Red Cross, located in Walkersville, subject to the
requirement that the grantee grant and convey an historic
easement to the Maryland Historical Trust (Frederick County)

American Red Cross Chapter. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i)
$250,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of Washington County
Maryland Chapter of the American National Red Cross for the
construction of a building at 1131 Conrad Court in Hagerstown
to include administrative offices, a blood center, and facilities
for training purposes (Washington County)

Anacostia Watershed Society. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of Anacostia Watershed
Society, Inc. for the acquisition and renovation of the George
Washington House located at 4302 Baltimore Avenue in
Bladensburg, subject to the requirement that the grantee grant
and convoy an historic easement to the Maryland Historical
Trust (Prince George's County)

Baltimore Center for Children. Provide a grant equal to the
lesser of (i) $100,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund
provided, to the Board of Directors of the Baltimore Child Abuse
Center, Inc. for the construction, renovation, and capital
equipping of the new Baltimore Center for Children building to
include handicapped access, a sprinkler system, elevators, an
HVAC system, and interior walls to provide separate rooms,
located at 2315 St. Paul Street in Baltimore, subject to the
requirement that the grantee grant and convey an historic
easement to the Maryland Historical Trust. Notwithstanding
the provisions of Section 1(5) of this Act, the matching fund may
include real property or funds suspended prior to the effective
date of this Act (Baltimore City)

Baltimore Medical System. Provide a grant equal to the lesser
of (i) $200,000 or (ii) the amount of the matching fund provided,
