Further provided that $395,670 of the
general fund appropriation shall be
withheld until the Governor's Office of
Crime Control and Prevention (GOCCP)
has submitted a report to the General
Assembly on or before December 1, 2003,
in accordance with § 2-1246 of the State
Government Article. The report shall
relate to the "War Room" program and
describe the coordination and cooperation
of GOCCP, the quantifiable law
enforcement results that have been
achieved, the progress toward GOCCP
goals, and GOCCP's consensus position on
extended judicial operations. The budget
committees shall have 45 days to review
and comment.
