Provided that the Maryland Department of
the Environment shall not expend funds
for the Enterprise Environmental
Management System (EEMS) or approve
contracts for implementation of EEMS
until an EEMS project implementation
update is submitted to the budget
committees. The EEMS project update
should include the following information:
total estimated cost by fiscal year;
evidence of Department of Budget and
Management review and approval;
implementation timeline; and, a summary
of project deliverables. The budget
committees shall have 45 days to review
and comment upon the report.
