D14A14.01 Office for Children, Youth, and
Families

Provided that the Office for Children, Youth,
and Families submit to the budget
committees by December 1, 2003, a report
regarding the status of the
Return/Diversion program. The report
shall include a timeline by which the
regulations for the program shall be
promulgated, a description of the public
input process that will be utilized to
develop the regulations, and an update on
the program as currently implemented.
The update shall include data on the
number of children served by the program,
the number of children awaiting services
from the program, and the number of
children denied services under the
program in fiscal 2003 grouped by age,
disability, county of residence, and
rationale for denial of services.

Further provided that the Subcabinet for
Children, Youth, and Families submit to
the budget committees by December 1,
2003, a report regarding the status of the
implementation of Chapter 282, Acts of
2002 regarding improved access to services
for children with special needs. The report
